Limp BizkitThe American band Limp Bizkit will be on a world tour from 2015 and the band will also give a concert in Bratislava. Limp Bizkit is an American nu metal band which was formed in 1994.

Through the years the line up of the band went through some changes so its current members are Fred Durst, Wes Borland, Sam Rivers and John Otto. During their career they sold over 50 million records and they were pretty popular in the late 1990s and in the beginning of 2000s. Limp Bizkit released seven albums since it was formed in 1994 and their first album the The Dollar Bill, Yall came out in 1997 and their last album Stampede of the Disco Elephants which was released in 2015. So from the spring of 2015 the band will be on world tour and on this occasion the band will be on stage in some European cities including Bratislava, Krakow, Berlin, Hamburg, Vienna, Paris, Moscow and so on.

The concert in Bratislava, Slovakia will be held on Tuesday 9th June in 2015 and it will take place at the Aegon Arena. Tickets for the concert are already available.

Slovak Food Festival 2015

The Slovak Food Festival is an annual and also the biggest foodie festival in Slovakia. In the middle of May this special gastronomic festival will be held again in the capital of Slovakia in Bratislava.Slovak Food Festival 2015

The concert will be held on Friday 27th February in 2015. Katy Perry is an American singer, songwriter and actress as well. Katy Perry had her biggest breakthrough in the music industry after she released her second album the One of the Boys in 2008. From the album I Kissed a Girl brought her ultimate success in the world of music. Her third album the Teenage Dream came out in 2010 which was also a great success for the singer.

From the third album California Gurls and Teenage Dream were ranked number one on different music charts. Katy Perry’s fourth album was Prism which was released in 2013. From her latest album Roar and Dark Horse were the biggest hits. Katy Perry is on a world tour since May 2014 and she will has her last concert in Brazil in September 2015. Robbie Williams concert in Bratislava 2015

Robbie WilliamsRobbie Williams is on a world tour from next year and he will visit several countries all across Europe and in Asia as well. He will give 16 concerts in total, 14 in Europe and 2 in Asia.

The first concert of the world tour will be held in Madrid, in Spain. Robbie Williams is an English singer and songwriter. He started his career at the boy band Take That in 1990. After he left the pop group he started a really successful solo career. In 2009 he joined the band Take That again and he is still part of it. Robbie Williams sold more than 77 million albums worldwide and he is one of the most successful singers of all time and he is the best selling British solo artist in the United Kingdom. Robbie Williams latest album the Swings Both Ways came out in 2013. From next year Williams will be on a world tour again. The Let Me Entertain You concert tour will be his upcoming eleventh world wide tour. The first concert will be held next year in March, in Madrid.

There will be several other concerts in Europe including France, Spain, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Austria and so on. The concert in Slovakia will take place on the capital of Slovakia in Bratislava. The International Film Festival Bratislava is also featuring dramaturgical innovations. This section of the festival let the visitors respond to the latest trends and issues that happened in the world. The International Film Festival will take place in Bratislava the capital city of Slovakia. The festival will be held from 8th November 2014 until 14th November 2014.

Bratislava Jazz Days 2014

Jazz DaysThe annual festival of jazz will be held in Bratislava again this year. It is one of the most popular international jazz festival in Europe. Every year it attracts thousands of people from all around the world and from the neighbour countries.

The first festival was in 1975 when Slovakia was part of the Soviet eastern block and was isolated from the western influence. It has been the 40th occasion since the first Bratislava Jazz Days was held the first time. Visitors can enjoy the best jazz concerts and best performances during the festival. The Bratislava Jazz Days is offering a wide range of concerts from the best Slovakian and from the best international bands such as the Slovakian Starts of Jazz, the Les McCann & Javon Jackson Band from the USA, Robert Cray Band which is an American band, Robert Cary who is a blues guitarist and singer who won 5 Grammy Awards during his career and Hugh Masekela who is from South Africa and several other musicians.

The Bratislava Jazz Days will take place in the capital of Slovakia, in the heart of Bratislava. The festival will be held from Thursday 23rd October until Sunday 26th October 2014. Tickets for the festival are already available, daily tickets are for 25 and 35 euros, a daily V.I.P. ticket is for 65 euros, a three days festival ticket is for 60 euros and for V.I.P. it costs 90 euros. V.I.P. festival pass is for 180 euros, but there are daily tickets for 14 euros and at the door for 18 euros. All the V.I.P. includes cold and warm meals buffet, alcoholic and alcohol free drinks in the V.I.P. zone.

Christmas Market in Bratislava 2014

This year the end of 2014 the Christmas Market will open its gates again in the capital of Slovakia. Every year since the first Christmas Market which was held in 1993 more and more visitors are coming from the neighbor countries and from all around the world to Bratislava during the Christmas period to do their pre-Christmas shopping and to experience the real holiday mood.

Apart from getting the best Christmas presents you will have the chance to try the best food and drinks at the market. From 107 different stands you can choose the best authentic Slovakian foods such as roasted chicken or beef in a bun which is topped with mustard and grilled onion or potato crepes which is stuffed with cabbage, goose fat or poppy. The Christmas Market would not be complete without the best mulled wines, punch and plum brandy. At the market you can also explore handicraft products from the locals like the homemade candles, Christmas decorations, scarves and ceramics. The Christmas Market takes place in the heart of Bratislava at the Main Square from 23rd November until 23rd of December 2014.

Bratislava Music Festival 2014

Bratislava Music FestivalThe Bratislava Music Festival is an international music event in Bratislava in Slovakia. It is one of the biggest music festival of classical music in Slovakia. The festival is organised by the Slovak Philharmonic and its president Edita Gruberova.

The first Bratislava Music Festival was held in 1965 between 8th April and 7th May but since 1971 it takes place at autumn opening a new season each year. The festival is member of the European Festivals Association since 1973. There will be plenty of concerts during the festival from all over the world. Visitors can listen to the best performances from the most famous and worldwide known composers of all time. At the international music festival visitors can see the best concerts and they will have the chance to get to know different orchestras from different countries such as the London Symphony Orchestra, Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, Orchestra National de Lyon and Weiner Philharmoniker and several others as well. The Bratislava Music Festival will take place from 21st September on Sunday, the first concert will be at 7.30 in the evening at the Concert Hall of the Slovak Philharmonic and the last concert will be 12th October in 2014 at 7.30 in the evening.
