AC/DC Bratislava
Bratislava in July is a fantastic city. It is warm, you can enjoy a walk along the Danube, and there are lots of places where you can eat delicious ice cream. But, July in Bratislava will be even better in 2024 as AC/DC is coming to the city to play in front of tens of thousands of people at the Vajnory Airport, also known as Bratislava Airport. What does this mean? You don’t really need to visit the city center of Bratislava to attend the AC/DC concert, but if you are smart, you book a hotel in the city center and spend some additional days to find out what the Slovakian capital has to offer.
AC/DC will visit lots of cities across Europe in the summer months of 2024. Germany is the country where the band will have most of their countries, but there are lots of countries where the band will not have any concerts at all, like Hungary, Czech Republic, Norway, Spain, Denmark, Italy, Sweden, and Poland. In other words, we are lucky to have one major concert with the band, even though some would have been even happier if there had been two AC/DC concerts in Bratislava.

Is the Vajnory Airport the main airport in Bratislava?
Many people ask this question and it is important to know that this is an airport no longer in use for traffic as it was closed in 2007. In other words, if you come by plane to Bratislava, you will arrive at Milan Rastislav Štefánik Airport. But, there isn’t a big distance between the two airports, so if you use a car, the ride should take no more than 10 minutes at most.
